Wandering AloneWas it the same man, resurrected by his dark god to wander and fight? What purpose could he serve? To wander in the shadows only to die by the hand of a passing warrior?
Wandering RockWandering rocks wander the watery rocks burning with the fiery rock they keep. How many wandering rocks to keep the burning rocks? How many keepers to wander the watery rocks?
WaterbearerThe life of a soldier can be harsh and glorious by turns. For those green troops who have just joined the Order of the Griffon, their first season may well be their last. It is a well known and broadly accepted fact that the majority of new soldiers serve as cannon- and arrow-fodder for the enemy. Only the exceptionally talented (not to mention lucky) can hope to emerge from their first few engagements unscathed.
WolfenburgThe one-time capital of Ostland, Wolfenburg bears the scars of repeated attacks, and it was only with the coming of the plague that the Ostlanders fled the city.

Wolfenburg was not abandoned wholly. Dark figures shamble through the low-lying mists. Strange sounds work their way through the dense underbrush and dripping leaves. The Order of the Griffon soldiers keep close to their established camp, afraid of venturing too close to a place that is so obviously damned.

Wolfram's LetterDearest Aggie,

I've seen a lot in the past few months, but nothin' that c'n beat warmth of your smile. Of those who signed up, only Klaus and I made it to Altdorf. Corvin took a greenskin arrow in the shoulder, and Alfreid was lost in the snows of High Pass.

Not a day passes that I don't pray for an end to this war, but there's nothing for it but to keep fightin'. Our enemies are terrible! I've seen horrors you can't imagine, and if we can't stop them, we'll be worse than dead.

Word is we're being sent north now, to aid our friends in Praag. Cursed hard fate to keep taking me farther from you!

Pray for me,
Wolfram Becker

World EmberThe flames of the burning rock recede wherever you touch the edges of the stone with your fingers. The heat remains, but you are its bearer now, and it will not harm you. You can feel the flows of heat beneath the world, the natural and magical fires under the mountains that maintain all that was, is, and has yet to be.
Wot's Dis Den?The Goblin scratches his nose as he stares at the huge metal ball.

'Well I c'n see yer problem right off. Dis fing's broke.'

Stepping closer, the Goblin sniffs at the salt-rusted metal.

'Dunno wot its for. Wonder wot's inside?'

A wicked grin splits the goblin's face as he raises a battered metal bar towards the ceiling. Before you can take more than a single step forward, the metal bar strikes the mine with a resounding gong.

'Well that was disa-'

The rest of the goblin's words are lost in the explosion that rocks Barak Varr.
