| Description | Once subject to even greater amounts of volcanic activity than the main part of Caledor, Dragonwake has become a fertile blend of verdant canyons and windy peaks. Underneath the mountains and lying in the deepest of caves slumber the largest concentration of dragons in the known world, and it has long been the charge of the Elves of Dragonwake to take care that the lairs of the great beasts are never discovered and defiled. High above these lairs, among the beauty of Dragonwake's peaks, the Dark Elves and High Elves clash to decide control of Ulthuan, the fight raging across thin spans of pale stone bridging the mountain valleys. |
| Noteworthy Text | Just as the armies of High Elves and Dark Elves converge on Dragonwake, so too do their many intrigues. From the northern coast the forces of Order and Destruction may gain access to the Isle of the Dead, where the final move with the Menhir Stones is to be made. Beneath the mountains lie the dragons, and the High Elves and Dark Elves fight for the very souls of the great serpents. Off to the south lies the Fortress-Shrine of Vaul's Anvil, besieged by Hellebron in her quest for power. So many fronts have thinned the lines of both sides in this conflict, and with so few warriors to go around the fate of Ulthuan will be decided by those few strong and brave enough to join the fight. |
