The capital of Lothern resides within Eataine and the massive defenses of the city's harbor guards passage to the Inner Sea. Most of Ulthuan's nobles live within Eataine, their manors taking the form of sprawling pastoral vineyards and farms. The greatest part of Ulthuan's famed Silver Helm cavalry is also recruited from among these noble families, ensuring that any force wishing to assault Lothern itself will first have to contend with an army of shining lances charges through the plain. |
| Noteworthy Text | Although few formal fortifications exist in Eataine, each manor is a garrison in itself. Every peasant and noble is trained in the art of war and ready to defend every last foot of the road to Lothern. Rather than try to bypass these garrisons, the Dark Elves revel in the hindrance, for if this march is their final push to Lothern, then they will savor the destruction of every false lord along the way. |
